Aircraft Repair Technician




Mesa, AZ




Contract Position




$26.58-$29.53/Hour

Responsibilities:

• 
  Inspect, analyze, and repair used aircraft components to restore serviceability.
  


• Interpret assembly drawings, process specifications, and technical manuals to verify dimensions and clearances.


• Perform corrosion removal, blending, and damage repair on various helicopter components.


• Utilize micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure repairs meet factory specifications.


• Conduct hand finishing, stud/bushing replacements, insert installations, and minor machining.
  


• Work with Manufacturing and Liaison Engineers to resolve planning issues and clarify repair dispositions.


• Maintain Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness and ensure a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• 
  High School Diploma/GED required.
  


• 
  Mechanical skills or background required.
  


• 
  Aviation repair experience preferred.
