The Engineering Manger is critical to our growth over the next three years. Important job components will be project managing the installation, permitting, and PM programs for new equipment, continuing to improve and upgrade our facilities, and to interface with production to assure smooth operation and expansion.
There is a lot of room for the right person to grow in the role as our business expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, coordinate, and install all new process equipment
Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper working of all process equipment, including: Wet benches; b. Polishers; c. Wet sinks; d. Ovens; e. LPC; f. Drying hoods; g. UV inspection; h. Grit blasters; i. Ultrasonicators; j. DIW recycling equipment; k. HEPA filters on hoods; and, l. Laser microscopes and other QC equipment
Provide quality control checks on work done by outside contractors
Support EH&S program
Perform safety audits
Monitor and manage energy usage from process equipment and house utilities
Responsible for managing, updating and accessing as-built drawings on the facility
Support maintenance issues on exhaust systems
Create SOP's related to standardized equipment maintenance as needed
Perform quality management functions related to process equipment (calibrations, PM, CAPA)
Coordinate and lead improvement and expansion projects
Review engineering drawing and process development and transfer
Other tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Degree or certification in chemical/material engineering or a related field
At least ten years of relevant work experience, semi-conductor industry experience a plus
Experience working in a cleanroom environment
Exceptional problem-solving ability
Good communication skills
Ability to work seamlessly in a team environment
Detail oriented, self-directed, takes personal pride in work
Manage a team of 5+ engineers
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
semi-conductor manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
cleanroom environment: 2 years (Preferred)
running PM programs: 5 years (Preferred)
working in an ISO environment: 3 years (Preferred)
Pay: $130,000 - $150,000

This job equally operates in a production and professional office environment. The environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication and may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends and possibly holidays.
