Maintenance Technician at Volt in Irvine, California

Volt is immediately hiring a Maintenance Technician for a property management company in Irvine CA.


As a Maintenance Technician you will:

• Responsible for keeping the rental properties in excellent condition, both inside and out
• Troubleshoot, assess, repair, and replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Conduct preventative maintenance on the properties or within the units
• Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, door hardware, windows, window screens, and other general building items
• Maintain accurate record of daily maintenance records and action items
• Interact with vendors and suppliers in a professional manner
• Complete apartment service tickets and log all assigned work orders accurately and in a timely fashion

This is a full-time temporary 2-month opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma
• General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service
• Maintenance: 2 years (Required)
• Painting: 2 years (Required)
• Plumbing: 2 years (Required)
• Appliance repair: 2 years (Required)
• HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Work authorization (Required)
• Apartment Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Ability to handle basic accounting fundamentals and concepts
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings

Schedule: Thursday to Monday 8am-5pm


Pay Rate: $21-24/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
