Job Summary
Operates multiple-call telephone and directs calls to appropriate person or department. Understands the business in order to assist callers. Greets patients, visitors, vendors and other visitors. Ensures that visitors are properly badged and escorted to the correct office. Maintains pertinent telephone and visitor records. Performs routine clerical tasks such as light typing or related duties.

Essential Functions


-Responsible for greeting and welcoming guests and visitors within an inpatient or outpatient facility.


-Provides current information about the location of patients.


-Answers and transfers phone calls to appropriate patient rooms and departments.


-Assist with taxi and parking services.


-Assist with security procedures (e.g., issues badges, ensures proper completion of visitors' log) and ensuring health protocols are followed by visitors.


-May also act as a concierge or greeter or information associate.
