Job Summary
1. Their primary responsibilities are to assist all rehabilitation staff in the day-to-day operation of the service in accordance with State licensing regulations, departmental standards and policies,
2. Assists with inventory control with oversight by the Purchasing Clerk of the department.
3. Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning of rehabilitation equipment.
4. Assists in greeting/escorting patients and facilitating smooth departmental flow of patients.
5. Assists supervising therapist in patient care in accordance within state licensing regulations.
6. Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist the co-op rehab aide can perform those aspects of physical therapy intervention that they have completed coursework in and that the clinical supervisor has determined that they are competent in performing. (Only applies to the rehab aide co-op when they are actively on a formal co-op rotation and are enrolled PT student).
7. Completes other appropriate duties as assigned

Northeastern student enrolled in Health Sciences program
