Job Description
Support client's Analytical Technology group by conducting wet-chemistry and instrumental analytical chemistry analysis on in-process, final batch concentrate (FBC), monovalent bulk concentrate (MBC) sample types.
Preparing analytical standards and reagents
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
Calculating results using Excel spreadsheets and/or instrumental software
Documenting results in electronic laboratory notebooks and reviewing notebooks of peers
Supporting senior analytical chemists on various projects as assigned
Utilizing technical knowledge to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with resolution of process problems
Document experiment execution using an electronic lab notebook, batch record, and/or protocols
Prioritize and organize work to meet project deadlines and support team goals
Communicate effectively with co-workers and client staff members
Qualifications
BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment
Experience working with proteins or carbohydrates
Experience performing and reviewing data for Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and/or Imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing(icIEF) experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong computer skills
Incumbent must be organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a collaborative environment.

Additional Information
Position is full-time, onsite Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, position is located in Sanford, North Carolina
May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
