Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly - $50.00 USD Hourly

Description:
As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee small- to medium-scale technology initiatives from planning through execution. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project schedules, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget. This role is ideal for someone who excels at balancing technical knowledge with strong leadership and communication skills.



Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including application and infrastructure initiatives.


• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project.


• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with organizational objectives.


• Allocate resources, coordinate team efforts, and track progress against key milestones.


• Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to maintain project momentum.


• Communicate project status and updates effectively with stakeholders and leadership.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with established project management methodologies and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must Texas resident


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.


• 2-5+ years of experience independently managing small to medium-sized IT projects.


• Familiarity with project management disciplines and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).


• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, along with other Microsoft Office applications.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).


• Experience within the banking/finance sector.


• CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PMI-ACP certification is a plus.
