Salary: $32.00 USD Hourly - $35.00 USD Hourly

Description:
Our client provides portable diagnostic services to tens of thousands of patients nationwide each day. Services include X-ray, ultrasound, PICC line services, and more, delivered promptly and safely to patients in their homes, workplaces, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, correctional institutions, government agency clinics, or any location where care is needed.

The position is 100% mobile, requiring driving from patient to patient or facility to administer imaging services.
Candidates must be comfortable driving a company car/van, which will be provided for take-home use along with a company gas card.

Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer to provide high-quality imaging services to patients in various settings, including nursing homes, home care facilities, correctional institutions, and other healthcare environments within our service regions. This role requires frequent travel using a company-provided vehicle.


Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize self-dispatch system or contact dispatch department to receive daily assignments.


• Arrive at the first scheduled location at the start of the shift or depart from home 30 minutes prior.


• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at each site.


• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians and transmit images for radiologist review.


• Regularly check voicemail for facility communications and maintain contact with dispatch every 30 minutes as needed.


• Adhere to company dress code, including wearing provided uniform, name tag, and carrying a company phone.


• Respond to urgent communications within 15 minutes.


• Attend required meetings and training sessions.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.


• Maintain valid certifications, health clearances, and operational documentation.


• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.


• Abide by all workplace policies regarding substance use and background checks.


• Demonstrate professionalism, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to operate smartphones and computers for basic tasks like printing, scanning, and emailing.


• Familiarity with regional geography and travel routes.


• Responsible for maintaining and reporting equipment status.


• Willingness to train new technologists.
