Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer to provide high-quality imaging services to patients in various settings, including nursing homes, home care facilities, correctional institutions, and other healthcare environments within our service regions. • Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm OR 9am-5:30pm


• Pay: $37/hr


• Location: Indianapolis, IN

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Utilize self-dispatch system or contact dispatch department to receive daily assignments.


• Arrive at the first scheduled location at the start of the shift or depart from home 30 minutes prior.


• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at each site.


• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians and transmit images for radiologist review.


• Regularly check voicemail for facility communications and maintain contact with dispatch every 30 minutes as needed.


• Adhere to company dress code, including wearing provided uniform, name tag, and carrying a company phone.


• Respond to urgent communications within 15 minutes.


• Attend required meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.


• Maintain valid certifications, health clearances, and operational documentation.


• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.


• Abide by all workplace policies regarding substance use and background checks.


• Demonstrate professionalism, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to operate smartphones and computers for basic tasks like printing, scanning, and emailing.


• Familiarity with regional geography and travel routes.


• Responsible for maintaining and reporting equipment status.


• Willingness to train new technologists.


• Must meet physical demands for equipment handling and patient care, with reasonable accommodations available.


• Required certifications: ARDMS or CCI
