The Role: We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with solid experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This position requires someone who thrives in a heavy industrial setting and understands the unique challenges of fabrication and manufacturing environments. A background with PLCs is preferred, as well as previous leadership experience.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Oversee and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance for a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose and repair breakdowns on production equipment, minimizing downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.
Support welding, machining, and other fabrication processes by maintaining machinery critical to production.
Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to improve their technical skills and uphold safety standards.
Monitor inventory and ensure critical spare parts are available when needed.
Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance work that minimizes disruption.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and prepare reports on equipment performance.
What We're Looking For:
A strong background in maintenance within heavy industrial or fabrication environments.
Expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with PLCs (preferred) and an ability to troubleshoot control systems.
Demonstrated leadership ability with prior experience managing maintenance teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with pressure vessel fabrication or similar industries is a plus.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications are a big plus.
Must be comfortable working in a heavy industrial setting, including physical tasks like climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
