The Senior Loan IQ Integration Engineer at Mizuho is responsible for development, testing and support of the most critical Loan IQ system components and interfaces. This role also involves providing technical guidance to other developers, conducting code reviews, collaborating with application vendor, business and integration partners.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Loan IQ System Integrator to architect and build critical Loan IQ system interfaces such as Accounting / GL, Payments and others
Conduct code reviews across all levels of engineers
Help implement enterprise warehousing solution for Loan IQ
Partner effectively across the organization, bridging business and technology
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and improve Loan IQ application performance
Resolve system and client experience impacts
Uphold proper security standards for code development
Create technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts
Champion enhancements and best practices
Utilize programming knowledge to understand and potentially assist in automating tasks and enhancing system functionalities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, physics or economics
10+ years of software engineering experience in a Financial Institution
7+ years of Loan IQ and Commercial Lending Experience
7+ years of hands-on C# .NET coding experience
Experience in SDLC and Agile technologies such as Git, Jira, Confluence
Experience in attending Scrum ceremonies like Daily Scrum, Sprint planning, Sprint retrospective meetings
Functional and technical knowledge of the Loan IQ application, Code Tables and data model
Advanced SQL skills with the ability to understand and develop complex SQL queries (Oracle DB preferred)
Demonstrated experience with Loan IQ API suite
Demonstrated experience with Loan IQ system implementations
Demonstrated knowledge of the Agency Syndications, Loan Servicing & Loan Trading business
Demonstrated experience developing Loan IQ accounting, payments and other critical interfaces
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly
Ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimum supervision
A strong desire to learn and improve skills and knowledge continuously
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in DevOps concepts, specifically in CI/CD
Experience in creating and grooming Jira user stories as part of medium to large scale enterprise projects with multiple dependencies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
Familiarity with data conversion efforts, required testing/validations and Loan IQ Data Conversion Tool (DCT)
Experience or knowledge of Databricks or other data warehousing technologies
The expected base salary ranges from $160k-$190k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
