Job Summary
The Director Professional Services provides overall leadership for enterprise-wide programs and projects within our Language Services Division. This position collaborates with executive leadership and leaders from both IT and the business to prioritize and allocate resources, governance, and benefits realization/communication for project portfolios. This role will oversee Client Implementation Consultants in the field.
Job Responsibilities
Overall accountability for the development, continuous improvement, and implementation of a strategic PMO organization that partners with key leaders within IT and the business to enable effective project delivery.
Ensures the PMO provides consistent and effective financial and performance control overall, owning project outcomes and promptly advancing and handling issue resolution.
Coordinates and leads the evolution and performance excellence of toolsets, processes, and relationships.
Monitors and challenges Project Managers, IT Managers, and IT Leaders to continually improve the accuracy of their financial forecasts, program/project achievements/schedules, and resource planning based on master program/project schedule.
Ensures portfolio alignment with AMN Healthcare business and Technology strategies.
Participates in and/or owns the prioritization of potential investments using a business value-based governance approach.
Provides portfolio/project rationalization based on resource constraints (e.g., financial, time, staff, and skills), business goals, and initiatives.
Leads, coaches, and motivates a team of project management professionals to facilitate their continued growth and development and to ensure the successful delivery of all projects.
Responsible for daily leadership and management, including governance and enterprise capacity planning management. Provides support the team on resolution of issues/concerns.

Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
Bachelor's Degree plus 7-10 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 11-14 years of work experience
Additional Experience
Prior experience leading a technology-focused Project Management Office
Proven success managing a large portfolio with multiple business collaborators in a fast-paced, progressive, and dynamic environment
Experience facilitating change, including collaboration with executive and senior-level partners
Skilled at handling interpersonal relations to establish rapport inside and outside the immediate project teams
Experience with different methodologies and frameworks (i.e., PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile, SAFE, etc.)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$127,000 - $151,000 Salary Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
