Basic Job Functions:
Daily participation in group phone pool to answer phone calls for the Contract & Insurance team
Ability for occasional travel (less than 25%)
Onboard and maintain compliance related to new and current motor carriers and brokers which includes, but is not limited to:
Receiving and processing onboarding requests for carriers and brokers
Verifying carrier and broker qualifications
Access and review of carrier profiles through carrier vetting software
Send onboarding packets to prospective carriers and brokers
Negotiate, review, track and maintain all carrier and broker contracts
Obtain signed contracts and supporting documentation through DocuSign
Work directly with carriers and brokers as well as their insurance providers to ensure all required certificates and endorsements are received timely, including both initial COI/endorsements and renewal COI/endorsements
Analyze and review insurance certificates and endorsements to ensure compliance with contract requirements, including both initial COI/endorsements and renewal COI/endorsements
Communicate with insurance providers regarding any revisions needed to COI or endorsements
Manage carrier and broker profiles in company database including but not limited to adding detailed notes, updates to the profile, contact information and attaching applicable documents
Provide updates as to the status of carriers/brokers, as needed or requested, per established guidelines
Utilize various applications, programs, and systems to achieve assigned duties, tasks, and responsibilities
Contact carriers and brokers nearing insurance expiration to pursue renewal certificates/endorsements
Participation in weekly team meetings, or other applicable meetings, and providing regular updates on assigned tasks as they impact the team
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics or related discipline and or 4 years of equivalent work experience in a logistics, supply chain, or business role
Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in a logistics, supply chain, insurance, or business role
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, DocuSign, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft office software applications
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with commercial insurance certificates and endorsements
3+ years' experience in a logistics, supply chain, insurance or business role
