Reporting to the Senior Strategic Manager of Supplier Partnerships, the Strategic Manager, Sourcing will be responsible designing, implementing, and managing our supplier sourcing and direct cost management programs. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop a robust set of tools to ensure proper management of Envita's direct spend while working closely with the Operations Team and our Supplier partners.
Essential Functions
Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, process, and always acting in a safe manner
Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company's operations with primary focus on supplier spend
Primary lead for establishing national pricing with supplier partners
Develop and administer strategic pricing requests to supplier partner network for existing direct spends
Utilize supplier spend data to identify targets for direct expense improvement initiatives, including unit pricing changes, service efficiency changes, etc.
Administer Supplier Excellence balanced scorecard program
Key player with development and management of Vendor Marketplace Supplier relationship management tool.
Work closely with internal operations and supplier partner network to develop solutions to improve Envita profitability and customer cost savings
Oversee and report on internal campaigns focused on proper supplier partner utilization.
Develop tools to target and track spend/margin improvement through supplier negotiations.
Manage analysis and communication of supplier cost increases to ensure costs are well understood, fully mitigated, and passed on to the customer wherever possible.
Work closely with Finance to ensure proper direct expense targeting and results.

Education Qualifications
Required High School or Equivalent
Preferred Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or other related field
Experience Qualifications
Required 5+ years of related experience in supply chain management, preferably in the waste management industry. Related work experience could include production supply chain and/or inventory management.
Preferred 3+ years in the waste management industry
Preferred 3+ years data analytics, reporting analysis,
Preferred 1+ years strategic decision making
Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational, verbal/ written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and computer skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in utilization of Excel spreadsheets needed.
