Position Summary:
We are seeking an IT Analyst to join our dynamic team at a private equity firm based in Manhattan Beach, CA. This is a backfill role following the departure of a team member. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for technology. You will work alongside another IT Analyst to support 105-140 users across the organization. The position offers ample opportunities to grow, both in terms of responsibilities and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to requests for technical assistance in person and remotely.
* Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
* Repair, replace, and upgrade IT equipment as necessary.
* Set up AV equipment, workstations, and corporate-issued devices.
* Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues.
* Identify recurring technical issues and propose long-term solutions to address the root causes.

Must-Haves:
* 1-2 years of experience in IT support or related roles.
* Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience).
* Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to adapt.
* Understanding of hardware and software, and how they integrate with networks.
* Passionate about technology and eager to learn and grow in the field.
* Experience with PowerShell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working at an MSP (Managed Service Provider).
* Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft technologies.
* Experience with Cisco/Meraki hardware and networks.
Additional Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (first-generation college students are encouraged to apply).
* Experience in providing client-facing technical support, including configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware/software and mobile devices.
* Willingness to provide after-hours support remotely or onsite (including nights and weekends).
* Interest in pursuing technical certifications (CompTIA, MCP, Cisco).
* Familiarity with computer networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, ICMP, etc.).
* Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, and/or Shell Script.
* Experience with web design/website administration (Managed WordPress, PHP, CSS/HTML).
* Experience supporting AV conferencing and telephony equipment (Polycom, Teams Room).
