Job Description: Our staffing firm is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to join a prestigious law firm in Annapolis. This is an exciting, 100% in office opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment, providing essential administrative support to the firm's attorneys and staff.



Responsibilities:



  • Manage calendars, schedules, and appointments for attorneys

  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary

  • Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports

  • Maintain filing systems and ensure all legal documents are properly organized

  • Assist with client communications and coordinate meetings

  • Handle general office duties, including managing office supplies and handling incoming/outgoing mail

  • Provide support for billing, accounting, and other administrative tasks

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations




Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, ideally within a legal environment

  • Strong knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

  • Prior experience working in a law firm or legal setting is a plus
