Job Description:

Assembly Technician (1st Shift)



Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an Assembly Technician for a dynamic client in San Jose, California. This role requires an individual who can efficiently assemble components and ensure quality standards are met. The position is first shift and offers the opportunity to work with a committed team.

Responsibilities:

• Read, learn, understand, and interpret wiring schematics and work instructions, both written and verbal, to complete assembly of product components according to guidelines and standards.


• Use a variety of hand tools, following appropriate methods and procedures, to complete the mechanical assembly of components or products.


• Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards.


• Perform simple repairs.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and procedures.


• Cross-train to other departments as needed.


• Comply with safety regulations, ESD regulations, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.


• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple jobs at any given time.


• Other duties may be assigned.

• Ability to work quickly and accurately.


• Experience with hand soldering of electronic components.


• Ability to work on own initiative while also being part of complex interlinked teams.


• An eye for detail and a steady hand for precision assembly work.


• Ability to work under pressure.


• Ability to complete repetitive tasks without making mistakes.


• A good general and mechanical mindset.


• Effective communication skills.


• Basic computer skills required, with proficiency in the standard Windows office suite.

Requirements:

• Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 1st shift.

Benefits:



Competitive pay with a range from $23 to $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
