We are looking to hire a hands-on and motivational leader for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Ellenwood, GA who will provide personnel, route, and management support to Daniels drivers to ensure service is executed cost-effectively, efficiently, productively, and to the Daniels standard per our service agreements.
What will your job involve?
In this role you will provide administrative support across operations, transport and logistics and management to ensure smooth flow and operation of all MCF Environmental and Daniels Health services. This role will manage daily activities or operations of transportation. The coordinator will help with logistics schedules, be the liaison with key stakeholders throughout the organization to determine and implement efficient planning and use of resources.
What you will do
• Maintain inter-departmental communication between our plant operations, sales, and field operations teams
• Using Omnitracs and Verizon connect, logs and other documents, track and monitor driver activity. i.e. excessive stop times, excessive idling, excessive speeding, etc.
• Route all medical drivers daily and hazardous route drivers weekly
• Work with administration and production staff to ensure accurate and efficient creation of manifest
• Prepare and print memorandums for effective driver communication.
• Analyze route efficiencies to ensure optimum cost savings achieved
• Ensure minimal errors are made and high quality of customer service delivered
• Support projects related to the improvement of logistics processes
• Monitor and answer daily emails with vendors and customers
• Assisting the Transportation Supervisor with any projects and tasks needed
• Interfacing with our customers (clinical and support contacts at hospitals and other primary care
facilities) via phone and email to answer questions, resolve issues, proactively communicate
schedule or stock changes, and manage inbound scheduling requests
• Report, investigate and resolve (where applicable) customer requests and complaints via Salesforce ensuring a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in reporting and issue escalation
• Maintain and update filing, inventory and database systems (both manual and computer processes)
• Work closely with our production and transport team to ensure timely and efficient delivery is met at all customer locations. This includes:
• Prepare for billing that all manifest are reviewed and entered
• Printing and distributing process documents for daily production

A leader who understands that communication, accountability and personal example are the cornerstones of servant leadership and will be just as comfortable setting the example in transport as reviewing your P&L or planning a new customer rollout. Here's some of the skills and attributes that would make you a great fit candidate:
• 2+ years of Transportation Support or dispatch experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of transportation/logistics practices and procedures
• Knowledge of best practices for customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Willingness to be a strong team player and contribute to a positive work environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
