Job Description:

Our client, a well-known organization in the Vancouver area, is seeking a Inventory Analyst on a temporary basis. The hours for this role would be Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Responsibilities:

• 
  Claims Management: Submit property damage/loss or customer complaint claims to the appropriate forwarding warehouses.


• 
  Rate Negotiation & Analysis: Review and negotiate storage/handling rates annually to identify cost-saving opportunities; collaborate with new warehouses when necessary.


• 
  Warehouse Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with third-party warehouses, working with up to 8 locations.


• 
  Adherence to Procedures: Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• 
  Inventory Management: Keep accurate inventory records and update as necessary, utilizing multiple third-party Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure data integrity.


• 
  System Transaction Maintenance: Oversee and maintain all system transactions for assigned warehouses.


• 
  Inventory Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory transactions on a monthly basis.


• 
  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional teams to address problems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


• 
  Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and identify corrective actions; coordinate review meetings as needed.


• 
  Project Support: Assist with additional project work or tasks as required.


• 
  Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality across all aspects of the role.


• 
  Safety Compliance: Perform duties in alignment with safety guidelines and regulations.
