Warren Oil is seeking a Teammate Engagement Manager to join our growing team in Dunn, NC. The position is responsible for developing a strong business relationship with the management team by providing employee relations counseling, management training, recruiting and placement, and salary administration in support of the Company's overall strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and detail-oriented human resources generalist.
Essential Functions:
Provide day-to-day HR leadership by coordinating and allocating resources and drive execution of various business initiatives.
Advise management team on performance, staffing and employee relations issues. Design and implement strategies designed to drive the business (e.g., reduce turnover, increase productivity and satisfaction, improve quality of applicant pool).
Coach and mentor both leadership and employees.
Act as a liaison between employees and management, encouraging behaviors that are in line with the Company's mission, culture and values.
Identify employee Training and Development opportunities and programs. Regularly conducts HR related training (i.e.: Sexual Harassment, Progressive Discipline, HR 101)
Plan for succession and identify the values, behaviors and skills needed for current and future business needs
Implement and annually update compensation programs: conduct annual salary surveys, analyze compensation, and monitor performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
Ensure compliance and reporting with all current laws and regulations at Federal, State and Local levels.
Support internal customer survey and employee satisfaction interpretation/feedback process.
Perform administration of unemployment issues including initial response and appeals for all claims.
Oversee administration of benefit and leave programs.
Develop and manage recruitment plans to ensure selection of highly qualified personnel.
Establish and maintain department records and reports.
Ensure proper on boarding of all new hires.
Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings as needed.
Identification and appropriate recommendations of general company legal liability regarding all aspects of human resources regarding current laws and regulations.
Directs activities of HR Staff.
Requirements
Four-year degree in Business, Human Resources or closely related field
Minimum 10 years HR experience
Previous HR leadership experience in a multi-site company
Competent in Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
Well versed on Labor and Employment laws
