Position Overview
CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One is looking for a dynamic, full-time Associate Producer for our Content Show team with at least three years' experience. Applicants must have a dedicated work ethic with a strong background in executing a live in-studio show and audio production. You'll be collaborating with our team to execute the on-air production of a daily show and features/projects for on-air, web, social media content and video postings.
The Associate Producer organizes, conceptualizes, and develops topics, features, and guests that represents the lifestyle and interests of the show's listeners. They also partner with the show's host, the programming team, and others to create
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Show Execution: Assist with the daily live radio show and podcast production, listener engagement, and production elements. Includes board operator duties.
• Content Research and Creation: Research trending topics and prepare content for various platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the host, producer and the content/programming team to develop engaging content and increase listenership.
• Guest Coordination: Provide support to guests for on-air and digital platforms. Prepare technical interview setup for guests for in-studio and recorded radio broadcast and podcast interviews.
• Brand Management: Grow the show's brand through strategic content creation and social media engagement.
• Revenue Opportunities: Identify and maximize revenue opportunities through content and advertising integration.
• Console/Technical Operations: Operate console/board for national radio broadcast. Facilitate camera setup and lighting for podcast and streaming video.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of three years in audio, radio, or video production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Audition, OpX, and social media platforms. Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for a bachelor's degree.
• In-depth understanding of conservative talk radio and FCC regulations.
• Ability to work on holidays.
Pay Range
USD $42,400.00 - USD $53,000.00 /Yr.
