TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor- Repair Lab located in Atlanta, GA.
The Board Repair Lab Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing lab technicians in Atlanta, GA, and Walnut, MS. This position integrates supervisory functions with advanced PCBA repair expertise to ensure operational excellence, optimal productivity, and continuous improvement. The incumbent will foster a high-performance team environment while maintaining industry-leading standards in circuit board repair and testing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Leadership & Team Development:
Provide direct supervision and oversight to lab technicians and the lab coordinator, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Approve and manage employee work schedules in compliance with company policies.
Set performance goals and conduct mid-year and annual performance evaluations in collaboration with management.
Mentor and develop lab personnel, fostering professional growth and technical proficiency.
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Operational Management:
Work closely with the lab coordinator to enhance efficiency, productivity, service delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.
Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize repair accuracy, turnaround times, and cost-effectiveness.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to departmental performance targets, timelines, and operational objectives.
Assess and recommend budgetary allocations, including staffing, technological investments, facility enhancements, and equipment acquisitions.
Ensure strict adherence to departmental policies, budgets, and TKE safety protocols.
Technical Expertise & Innovation:
Perform expert level troubleshooting, testing, and repair of analog and digital circuit boards.
Design, assemble, and integrate test equipment for PCBA diagnostics and repair.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for PCBA testing, repair methodologies, and test equipment design specifications.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance lab capabilities.
Assists the PDC as needed including prototype development efforts
Additional Responsibilities:
Research and procure advanced lab equipment to align with evolving technical requirements.
Provide expert-level technical guidance and training to lab team members.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality assurance standards, and organizational policies.
