Who we want… (Requirements)

The successful candidate will have an associate degree and two (2) years of experience in payroll, or the equivalent combination of education and experience totaling two years.  

 

Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, software and e-mail.  The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills. Must be physically present in the Lexington office.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

  • Reviews team member personnel records to verify demographic, pay, benefit and deduction information.
  • Collects, reviews, and assists team members with electronic timesheets
  • Reviews reports for accuracy of inputted data and corrects errors
  • Assists with the processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
  • Maintains spreadsheets, word documents and Standard Operating Procedures for the Payroll Team
  • Processes online payments for garnishments and child support
  • Assists with timely filing of payroll related taxes
  • Maintains team member confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Assists with special projects, as necessary.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision.

 

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities
