Job Summary:


The Total Rewards Analyst will provide technical, analytical, and programmatic support for the organization’s total rewards programs to assist in designing competitive packages that meet employee needs and support organizational goals. This roll will also conduct research, analytical reporting, and auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.


Essential Position Functions:



  • Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization and ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.

  • Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.

  • Review jobs and their respective duties and responsibilities to determine the FLSA status.

  • Conduct the annual benchmarking analysis for total rewards programs, respond to surveys, and conduct competitive market analysis.

  • Responsible for performance management communications and processes, coordination of annual merit increase processes, and bonus payout calculations and documentation.

  • Support effective communication of all total rewards information, including implementing new or revised total rewards offerings.

  • Audit and recommend changes to ensure ongoing compliance for total rewards programs; educate HR partners and management on legal requirements.

  • Conduct regular auditing of benefits enrollment and changes on all benefit offerings to ensure the accuracy of enrollment information in the HRIS system and corresponding payroll deductions.

  • Review carrier information against the HRIS system to ensure any discrepancies are identified and resolved.

  • Assist with 401(k) processing, approvals, and/or audits, including enrollment elections, loans, and necessary EPCRS and retirement contribution corrections. Provide analytical and administrative support for data requests related to annual audits, annual reporting, and projects as needed, such as the 401(k) match and testing process, by generating and reviewing applicable data files to ensure information accuracy.

  • Plan, coordinate, and communicate wellness events for all facilities as needed. Conduct analysis and develop metrics to determine the effectiveness of wellness initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Assist in training benefit team members, conducting audits, providing back-up support for new hire benefits enrollment, and providing open enrollment assistance to employees or local HR team members.

  • May provide occasional back-up support for new hire benefits enrollment and phone enrollment support during the annual benefits open enrollment window.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


 


Education and Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 3+ years combined experience supporting compensation and benefits functions in professional, analytical capacities. HRIS and reporting experience are strongly preferred.


 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, FLSA, pay equity, and transparency laws, job documentation best practices, and quantitative and qualitative job evaluation techniques.

  • Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Must be highly proficient in Excel with capabilities to perform look-ups and create pivot tables summarizing large amounts of data.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and the ability to proactively plan large bodies of work, ensuring milestones are met or adjusted and communicated as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail, self-starter, critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment, ability to set priorities, and independently function as part of a team.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Must possess a high level of discretion, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.

  • Ability to interact professionally with employees, management, and executives, appropriately communicating technical and/or sensitive information.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


 


Physical Demands and Working Conditions:



  • Office environment.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting. Standing at desk working on computer as needed.

  • Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities to conduct work on computer and phones.

  • Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality required to support the scope and nature of business needs.

  • Flexible schedule may occasionally be required based on business needs.

  • Travel only as directed by Total Rewards Manager – less than 10%.


Exempt only:  This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
