Job Summary

The Business Operations Growth Consultant for Combined Insurance US Agency Distribution Channel will report to the AVP Worksite Capabilities and will play an important role in the development and execution of the billing service model for Combined Agency Worksite Operations. The Billing and Premium Growth Consultant is responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners (Sales, Product Owners, Actuarial, Legal & Compliance, Worksite Operations leadership) to define and enhance our billing and premium management strategy with a focus on the integration of technology and customer engagement to improve customer experience and speed of service, while strengthening performance monitoring capabilities and controls.

The Billing and Premium Growth Consultant must be able to think in a futuristic capacity and identify current and evolving challenges of the organization and develop data-driven recommendations to effectively address business needs. The role will have the responsibility of enabling the operation to consistently support sustainable growth by moving the business forward in a realistic but visionary manner.

General responsibilities also include business analysis, developing data-driven recommendations to improve service, educate team members on evolving business needs and implementation of new service strategies. A focus on delivering excellent service, maximizing operational efficiency, influencing key stakeholders, providing creative solutions, and offering strong project management are other key tenets of the role.

Responsibilities


  • Analyze strategic and operational business needs and recommend strategies that will deliver value-added services amid consistently changing customer service expectations.
  • Assess complex business issues to streamline processes, boost efficiency, achieve optimal performance through the collective utilization of people, processes, and technology.
  • Align improvement strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze relationships between business and service providers to maximize service and ROI
  • Lead the implementation of new process and systems within the business area.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless adoption of changes.
  • Provide training and support to employees during transitions.
  • Establish KPIs to track success of implemented changes.
  • Continuously monitor operational performance
  • Recommend strategy and process adjustments as needed based on performance data.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Create documentation of newly implemented process for future reference

Skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in business operations, process improvement or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years insurance industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strategic and analytical mindset
  • In-depth knowledge of business operational structures
  • Superb time management skills
  • Background in group insurance billing practices preferred.
