Role


Crown Castle is looking for a legal intern to join its Washington, D.C. office for summer 2025. The intern will primarily work in the areas of government/utility relations, public policy, and regulatory affairs.


Responsibilities



  • Review and analyze laws, bills, rules, and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels affecting the siting of broadband infrastructure.

  • Review and analyze contracts and regulatory filings.

  • Draft external correspondence and filings.

  • Participate in contract negotiations and other public-facing meetings or briefings.

  • Summarize regulatory and legislative hearings and other public events.

  • Support internal meetings to address legal or regulatory issues and escalations.

  • Collaborate on cross-functional legal and public policy projects.


Education/Certifications  



  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in pursuit of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, having completed 1L year

  •  Selected by the TMT Law & Policy Pipeline Program


Experience/Minimum Requirements  



  •  Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)

  •  Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship


Reports to: Managing Counsel – Government Relations


Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.


Compensation Information: The hourly range offered for this position is $23.00 per hour.
