Overview

The QC Specialist is responsible for testing and monitoring products for compliance per specifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates product to make sure it matches the specifications and customer requirements, and targets are achieved
• Understanding, evaluating and executing the tests and procedures properly
• Maintaining and setting up documentation and control procedures
• Picking up samples and carrying out checks and tests
• Understanding and comprehending Product Vision guidelines for quality aspects
• Follow all safety rules and regulations per established company policies
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP’s, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, Quality & USDA requirements.

Employee Safety Responsibilities:

• Report all injuries, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts & horseplay
• Use proper lifting techniques
• Use handrails
• Use personal assistance (buddy)
• Use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

• Prefer High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work rapidly and with a high degree of accuracy
• Math Skills
• Reliable
• Self-driven
