Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement: Lead the charge in analyzing and scheduling material purchases using our advanced Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system. Your keen eye for detail will ensure material availability aligns perfectly with our manufacturing and inventory plans.
Supplier Relations: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with current and potential suppliers. You'll negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement programs to achieve cost reductions without compromising quality.
Performance Excellence: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, analyze quotations, and recommend the best value options. Your proactive approach will implement corrective actions to meet our stringent quality and performance standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to plan and execute sourcing strategies and inventory programs. Your insights will be crucial in driving successful outcomes across the organization.
Quality Assurance: Promote and ensure compliance with our ISO quality requirements. You'll be the guardian of our standards, ensuring every purchase meets our high expectations.
Economic Insight: Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting economic changes and risks that could impact our performance. Your expertise will guide strategic decisions and keep us ahead of market trends.
Policy Innovation: Research, formulate, and recommend changes to our purchasing policies. Your innovative ideas will help shape the future of our procurement processes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field preferred
3+ years of experience in Purchasing or a related field desired
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and Business Law required
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
Intermediate proficiency in MRP required
