Job Summary
Perform various installation, repairs, and troubleshooting of high and low voltage AC/DC electrical equipment and ships electrical systems as related to yacht service and maintenance. Meet each commitment not only with precision, but also delivering service according to company core values.

Required Skills
Reading - Has the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and understand very complex material (technical reports, equipment specifications)Mathematical - Basic math and metric system knowledge is requiredWriting - Required writing to explain or describe informationPlanning / Organizing - Performs activities planned by othersDependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction: completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate planSafety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and material properly.
Required Experience
2-5 years' experience in general marine electrical position.School Diploma or GEDVocational/Technical School
Physical Requirements / Essential Functions:
The ability to stoop, crouch, pull, push, reach, hear, near vision, kneel, talk, stand, grasp, walk up to 600 yards quickly, and lift up to 50lbs are required.
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area.Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
