During that time we have engineered spray coating solutions for nearly any component you can think of; from tiny O rings to massive holding tanks we've done it all. We've even spray-coated all the hardware in the Statue of Liberty during its restoration from 1984-1986 with our specialty corrosion-resistant coatings. Throughout the years we have made significant infrastructure and technological investments to ensure our growth and commitment to delivering exceptionally coated products.

Summary
Applies prepared coatings to customer's parts according to customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reviews process sheets for accuracy
Maintains spray guns, air hoses, and other equipment
Reads process sheets to determine customer specifications, i.e. coating to be used, thickness, and type of application
Inspects and gauges parts to determine if coating applied according to customer specifications
Applies coating to parts using appropriate spray gun, material and application method as they move down the line
Inspects parts after coating process
Places parts in appropriate oven at correct time and temperature
Responsible for checking quality of work to ensure it meets the customer's expectations
Maintains a clean work area
Performs other related duties as assigned
Moves 10-50 lbs. across work area on a repetitive basis
Remain in a stationary position on a continual basis for duration of shift
Works overtime as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Training and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training.
Experience in powder coating highly desired
