With 200 offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).
Applicants must be within driving distance to our North Atlanta (Alpharetta), GA office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to a local office a minimum of three days per week.
A day in the life.
As a Sr. Retirement Plan Consultant, you will:
Builds strong partnerships with both clients and vendors based on the shared commitment to mutual goals
Responsible for the preparation, deliverance and follow through from client meetings (plan reviews) conducted either in person or via conference call
Manages pricing strategy, RFIs, RFPs and benchmarking for current clients
Supports sales process for new business
Facilitates plan design and investment changes with the recordkeeper
Completes analysis and sees through resolution to common operational issues
Work with clients, in coordination with internal resources, to address investment matters and design participant education strategies
Participates in education and project related support as needed
Stays abreast of current market, business, regulatory and legislative issues & trends to facilitate discussions with clients
Serves as a Relationship Manager to the firm's institutional clientele - providing service, plan design education and recordkeeper/TPA/Other Vendor support

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or higher (Major in Business Administration preferred)
Minimum of 7 Years Experience in working with Retirement Plan Sponsors
Student of the industry with demonstrated confidence of topical knowledge
Demonstrated knowledge of defined contribution financial products and services
Customer Focused: Passionate drive to delight our customers and offer solutions that deliver on their expectations
Critical Thinking: Thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem solving data to reach a well-reasoned solution
Team Mentality: Partnering effectively to drive our culture and execute on our common goals
Business Acumen: Appreciation and understanding of the financial services industry in order to make sound business decisions
Learning Agility: Openness to new ways of thinking
Enjoys multi-tasking and works well under pressure - very organized
Possesses a drive for results through accountability and execution
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Motivated self-starter, must enjoy working independently in a team environment
Willingness to develop new business opportunities and generate cross selling opportunities, where appropriate
Able to obtain Series 65 or Series 66 license within 90 days of employment
Relevant industry designations preferred
