Agile Scrum Master - Lead at Horizontal Talent in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description:

Are you passionate about Agile methodologies and ready to lead a dynamic team? We are looking for an experienced Agile Scrum Master - Lead to join our team and drive project success through effective Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Story Grooming, Demos, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  


• Identify and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress, acting as a liaison between the Scrum team and external stakeholders.
  


• Coach the Scrum team and the wider organization on Scrum theory and practices, helping them understand and adopt Agile principles.
  


• Empower the team to self-organize and make decisions about their work, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  


• Identify areas for improvement in the team's workflow and processes, experimenting with new approaches to enhance performance.
  


• Act as a bridge between the Scrum team and other stakeholders, effectively communicating the team's progress and challenges.
  

Skills

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst in an IT environment.
  


• Proficient in using Agility or similar agile project management tools.
  


• Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical deliverables.
  


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with airline operations or travel industry IT systems.
  


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  


• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
