Job Description:

We are working with a law firm in Manchester, NH, seeking a temporary full-time Bilingual Legal Assistant to support its team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and energetic professional with a strong interest in the legal field. They must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.



Location: Manchester




Hours 8-5 Monday - Friday




Temp: 4 Months




Pay: $23-$25/hr




Key Responsibilities:



  • Communicating fluently in English and Spanish via phone and email with clients, legal professionals, court staff, and other relevant parties.

  • Managing client files, including conflict checks and drafting engagement letters for attorney review.

  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, scanning, and distributing documents.

  • Drafting legal correspondence to clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

  • Organizing and maintaining both paper and electronic files in a document management system.

  • Scheduling appointments, tracking deadlines, and maintaining legal calendars.

  • Filing legal documents with courts, agencies, and administrative bodies, both electronically and in hard copy.



Qualifications:




  • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).

  • 1-3 years of experience in a professional office setting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Adobe,

  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.

  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
