JOB SUMMARY: Exceptional timeliness and accuracy in the creation and completion of all documentation, periodic reports, and correspondence. Accumulate credit information on individuals and businesses. Assist commercial loan officer with preparation and coordination of loan documentation. Check credit and in-house information for lending officers. Work with lending officer in ordering loan documents and maintaining credit files, including current financial statements. Provide clerical support to the commercial lender and support staff. Perform a variety of duties to provide clients with efficient and accurate services.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
Experience: 3 Years of clerical experience in a lending environment desired
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide client service and administrative support for commercial lending officer, including meeting and greeting clients in person and on the phone
Prepare file packages using the “New Loan Package Checklist” for document requests on all new loans, renewals and change in terms
Prepare all doc prep worksheets for loan documentation
Work on collateral evaluations
Review docs prior to signing
Move files from the “K” drive to ImageCentre File
Scan and copy files after signing for disbursement to appropriate parties
File all electronic correspondence to the appropriate file on the network
Scan construction draw requests together with the spreadsheet and photos to ImageCentre File
Work with loan delinquencies and prepare letters when needed
Print balance summaries for Problem Loan Reports on a quarterly schedule
Build and maintain commercial loan credit files, reviewing files to insure completeness of the file (financial information) and all collateral has been secured properly
Interface with title companies, other financial institutions and county and state agencies to properly document, record/file lien position collateral
Organize and prepare credit files with current financial information: tax returns, credit reports and collateral documentation
Assist clients with advances, transfers, payments and miscellaneous inquiries
Prepare letters to clients for annual financials
Follow-up with in-coming financial documentation and correspondence
Order supporting loan documentation such as credit reports, appraisals, flood determinations, etc.
Keep track of all BLA requirements, completing monthly reports and receipt of required documentation
Be knowledgeable of bank compliance rules and adhere to Federal and State banking regulations relating to this position
Follow all Bank compliance policies and procedures relating to this position
Miscellaneous follow-up and support to loan officer and support staff as needed
