The Human Resources Administrator is a fast-paced role, closely working with applicants, employees, former employees, and multiple departments ensuring procedures and best practices are fully understood and executed. The position is responsibility for facilitating key HR functions and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for HR department as it pertains to personnel issues 
  •  Maintain status of openings, review applications, schedule and/or conduct interviews as assigned 
  • Provide reports from ADP; analyze and interpret data to create other reports as needed 
  • Maintain personnel files and databases (I-9, PTO, Employee Files, etc.) 
  • Data entry and coordination of pre-employment screens (substance/background) 
  • Prepare forms related to injuries/leave, training certifications, tuition reimbursement, etc. 
  • Conduct New-Hire Orientations and Benefits Orientations and ensure documentation is complete 
  •  Coordinate and prepare routine communication to department, company, applicants, employees, and former employees 
  • Act as contact to employees and applicants with basic HR, Payroll, Benefits, or Leave questions 
  • Perform general administrative work in support of the HR department 
  • Performs special projects and other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School degree requires (Associates or Bachelors degree a plus) 
  • 1-3 years HR experience preferred
  • Experience working with ADP preferred 
  • Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish or English/French a plus) 
  • Strong organization and time management skills 
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation 
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality 
  • Ability to work as part of a team 
  • Schedule flexibility is a must (evenings/nights/weekends as needed)
