Project Manager: CAR-T External Development (CDMO)
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee external development projects related to our client's CAR-T programs in collaboration with Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs). This is a contract role - approximately 20 hours/week.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage all phases of CAR-T project development in collaboration with external CDMOs.
  • Facilitate project planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring milestones are met within timelines and budgets.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives based on project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, in cell therapy development; CAR-T experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of CDMO operations and experience in managing external partnerships.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:


  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments and compliance related to cell and gene therapies
