Job Description:

Under limited supervision, creates project level data architecture artifacts for specific projects.



Essential Functions

• Working with the business, it and other architects, facilitates the creation and evaluation of data models, data governance data strategy through the review of requirements and use cases to recommend project level artifacts with strategic initiatives and with the standard methodologies for development.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to apply basic computer concepts, theories, principles and methods to projects, business problems, issues, and/or questions.


• Architect/systems background required, knowledge of Fedex enterprise systems and TBM preferred


• Systems thinker and ability to dig into the details; strong communication skills, ability to translate technical requirements to functional outcomes


• Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise data systems, including, but not limited to: ERP/Financial, HR, CMDB, and BI systems


• Partner with lead Architect to assess, recommend, and map Enterprise data source tables to data table requirements in the model


• Act as a technical leader/advisor to the team and toward the broader IT organization, to drive enterprise data efforts that impact model requirements


• Team player - work with other team members to solution and troubleshoot

Minimum Education



Bachelor's degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems and/or equivalent formal training.



Minimum Experience



Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.



Domicile Information




This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.



Pay: $9,208.38/month - $16,575.08/month
