Work Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Must be available for IEP meetings, typically held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. New Employee Orientation takes place Mon-Wed, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Description: This is a 12-month position focused on evidence-based behavior change for students with disabilities. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will:
Assist educational staff, administrators, behaviorists, students, and parents with behavior change using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Conduct and support functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyses.
Develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) and ensure fidelity of implementation.
Provide training (individual and group), expertise, and consultation to school and agency personnel.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) behavior intervention committee.
The BCBA will maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, applying research-validated methods and PDE-supported procedures.
Education & Certification Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, special education, or a related field.
Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCBA-D) is required.
Experience & Skills:
Prior experience with special needs students, including writing FBAs and PBSPs.
Strong skills in behavioral consultation, performance management, and conducting staff/family training.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data collection/analysis platforms.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and effectively.
Valid driver's license required.
