Position: BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Location: School for Integrated Learning,


Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, typically 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.


Must be available for IEP meetings, which usually occur from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.


New Employee Orientation: Monday-Wednesday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

BCBA Job Summary This 12-month role specializes in evidence-based behavior change for students with disabilities. The BCBA supports educational staff, administrators, behaviorists, students, and parents by implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address challenging behaviors and develop positive behavior support plans. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting and supporting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Analyses.
  
  


• Writing and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans (BSP).
  
  


• Providing individual and group training for staff and parents.
  
  


• Advising on best practices and compliance regulations.
  
  


• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborative consultation with school personnel.
  
  


• Joining the PDE Behavior Intervention Committee.
  
  

The BCBA ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintains best practices grounded in ABA and research-validated methods.



Reports To: Principal/Education Director



Qualifications

• 
  Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field. BCBA or BCBA-D certification required.
  
  


• 
  Experience:
  
  
  
  
  • Proven experience working with students with special needs, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral challenges.
    
    
  
  
  • Proficiency in conducting FBAs, writing BSPs, and evaluating effectiveness across multiple environments (e.g., school, home, community).
    
    
  
  
  • Skilled in staff and family training, behavioral consultation, and performance management.
    
    
  
  
  • Ability to interpret behavior analytic research and implement program outcome studies.
    
    
  
  
  • Supervision experience preferred, with training in effective behavioral supervision techniques.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
    
    
  
  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    
    
  
  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and data collection/analyzing platforms (e.g., Radar, Pro-Filer).
