Job Requirements:

• No local candidates within 50 miles.


• Level 2 trauma center with proficiency in trauma stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine exams for all types of patients from emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services.


• Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.


• Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT - CT

Responsibilities:

• Operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.


• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.


• Administer contrast media or agents as required under the direction of a physician.


• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.


• Assess the quality of the images and ensure they are clear enough for diagnostic purposes.


• Inspect and maintain CT equipment to ensure it is in good working order.


• Follow all safety guidelines to protect patients and themselves from overexposure to radiation.


• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care.


• Continually update knowledge and skills through professional development activities.
