Compensation:

• Hourly Pay: $31.00


• Weekly Total: $1,116.00


• Housing Stipend: $770.00


• Meals and Incidentals: $476.00


• Total Gross Pay: $2,362.00

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.


• Critical Care and charge experience preferred.


• May begin entry level without Emergency Department experience, but a minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience is required.


• Current NYS RN license.


• BLS and ACLS required.


• PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.


• Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and be defibrillation certified within six months of employment.


• Must be IV, medication and phlebotomy certified during orientation.


• MEDITECH CHARTING experience.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations.


• Provide quality patient care and assess patients' needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects.


• Recognize safety issues to self and others and implement the use of lifts to move patients safely.


• Function well in stressful situations and possess good, creative problem-solving skills.


• Exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.


• May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.


• Maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
