Job Title: Registered Nurse



Location: St. Mary's Medical Center, Grand Junction, Colorado Pay Range: $54/hour - $73/hour (USD)



Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, you will provide independent nursing care and execute delegated medical functions in alignment with accepted practice standards set by the state Board of Nursing. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while adhering to hospital guidelines and promoting the organization's mission, vision, and values. The role may require on-call duties or floating to other departments as per business needs.



Responsibilities

• Perform nursing functions independently, alongside delegated medical duties.
  
  


• Assess and evaluate health status through ongoing data collection.
  
  


• Deliver health education, counseling, therapy, and restorative treatments.
  
  


• Delegate, consult, supervise, and teach others to ensure quality care.
  
  


• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans; refer patients as needed.
  
  


• Ensure proper documentation according to hospital and regulatory standards.
  
  


• Utilize resources efficiently to enhance patient care.
  
  

Qualifications Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to perform essential nursing duties with professionalism.
  
  


• Adaptable and capable of floating to different departments.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
  
  

Education:

• 
  Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program.
  
  


• 
  Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  
  

Certifications & Licensure:

•

  • Registered Nurse license for state of practice.
    
    
  
  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  Preferred: Additional certifications relevant to the department (e.g., ACLS, NRP, PALS).
  
  

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong interpersonal skills, health education proficiency, and adaptability.
  
  


• Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write).
