Job Description:

The E-Commerce Director for Best Buy Health's Lively product line is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive digital strategies to drive near and long-term sales growth. This pivotal leadership role oversees all aspects of the e-commerce business, such as strategic planning, managing digital marketing campaigns, optimizing sales funnels, overseeing the online store's design, functionality, and user experience and daily operations, while fostering innovation and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of scaling e-commerce businesses, delivering exceptional digital customer experiences, and driving performance and results through data-driven decisioning.


This role is remote but may involve occasional onsite collaboration at our Best Buy Health office. For this role, you must be located within a commutable distance to Richfield MN, Boston MA, San Antonio TX, or Novi Michigan. What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive near and long-term e-commerce strategies to increase revenue and profitability


• Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive traffic, improve conversion, and create and optimize revenue-driving promotions and offerings


• Partner closely with product development and design teams to improve the customer experience and performance of e-commerce channels


• Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, email, affiliate marketing and social media


• Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance metrics to identify areas for improvement


• Provide regular reporting and insights on key performance indicators to senior leadership, informing strategic business decisions.


• Define and manage the digital user experience to improve engagement rates including the development and maintenance of a site merchandising plans


• Identify new areas of e-commerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking that solve for customer needs in the digital space


• Continuously evaluate and improve organizational processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness

Basic qualifications

• 10 years of demonstrated success in an e-Commerce role in a high performing business.


• 7 years leadership experience


• 5 years of project leadership experience


• Track record of leading cross-functional teams through significant organizational change or digital transformation, driving measurable improvements in efficiency and profitability


• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and tools, including SEO and digital marketing.


• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics.


• Proven track record of success in managing medium to large-scale e-commerce platforms and driving online sales


• For this role, you must be located within a commutable distance to Richfield MN, Boston MA, San Antonio TX, or Novi Michigan.

Preferred qualifications

• 10 years of demonstrated success in an e-Commerce role in a high performing business


• Experience with other e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, eBay, and Walmart.


• Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
