The Schurz Broadband Group operates a growing fiber network that provides a full suite of residential and business product solutions consisting of high-speed data, internet, video, and voice services within six (6) regional broadband properties that operate across nine states. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Finance to play a critical role in financial operational performance with insightful analysis and forecast modeling. This role will collaboratively partner with each of our Regional Presidents/General Managers, property financial leads, corporate, and other key cross-functional stakeholder team members (marketing, sales, product, planning engineering, operations, IT, regulatory, HR, legal etc.) to optimize bringing highly useful reporting visibility consistently across all our operating regions.

Responsibilities Include:
Financial and Capital Strategy Analysis
Partner with EVP, CFO, Regional Presidents/GMs, and other cross functional leadership to oversee all Budgeting, P&L reporting, forecasting, financial modeling, margin & cost analysis, capital management, and other required operational data gathering analytics that support alignment with corporate strategic plan.
Lead annual budgeting process while providing visibility for all components of capital investments including return models, revenue drivers, and cost factors that support accurate data driven decision-making to maximize business growth opportunities and profitability.
Support business-case analysis and ROI models on all capital funding initiatives (i.e. fiber construction, network expansion, modernization upgrade projects) enforcing adherence to company investment criteria towards long-term value creation.
Work with the various operating units to provide regular updates on the progress of all active capital projects. This includes both the actual and forecasted spend, as well as the operational status and forecasted completion of each project.
Develop and maintain rolling forecasts with a 3–5 year long-range planning business outlook that evolves with changing market conditions and business priorities.
Support evaluation of potential M&A and/or other potential strategic investments via scenario/sensitivity modeling for financial risk assessment involving inorganic growth opportunities.
KPI Performance Development
Provide matrix management leadership coordinating regional monthly P&L operational review meetings, while collaboratively serving as key financial partner within a shared services model organizational structure arrangement.
Lead development of meaningful monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) operational metrics visibility (i.e. product attachments & profitability, margin management, capital efficiency, cost per premise, new sales bookings, subscriber acquisitions, churn rate, ARPU, customer satisfaction, etc.) to drive a continuous financial and operational improvement cadence across all properties.
Support bringing a consistent framework for automating dashboard reporting through Business Intelligence, ERP, CRM, and other evolving technology platforms as required.
Support development of a high performing finance team that reinforces fostering a data-driven culture in support of achieving growth and operational efficiencies.
Regulatory & Compliance Support Assurances
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry financial reporting standards.
Partner with legal team to lead regulatory matters when required for FCC, state, and local broadband reporting matters.
Support alignment with internal controls, risk management, and audit processes are properly being adhered to.
Provide video programming management including those related compliance requirements.
You will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, and/or finance or equivalent credentials required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Requires 10+ years of overall experience in progressive finance roles with at least 5 years in a FP&A leadership capacity within the telecommunications, fiber broadband, and/or cloud services technology infrastructure sectors.
Previous proven matrix management responsibility leading cross-functional teams across dispersed regions via a shared-services organizational model arrangement.
Extensive P&L and forecasting experience, performing financial and executive management reporting to include: annual budget process; long range planning development; month-end variance analysis; forecasting; and bringing insightful & actionable KPI visibility involving fiber services infrastructure.
Thorough knowledge with proven background in Capital Management & investment strategies that bring clear visibility & discipline involving: Business Case Investment Analysis modeling; Project Level Budgeting; Capital Efficiency Reporting; Deals Desk appoach; mapping and tracking capital allocations across business categories for investment prioritization; etc.
Experience with ERP systems, financial analytics platforms, Business Intelligence tools, and other technologies that improve workflow automation (working knowledge of SalesForce development is preferred).
Prior working knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance matters at the local, state, and federal levels is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly articulate (written and verbal) to diverse external and internal audiences/stakeholders.
