Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accounts Payable (AP) Senior Manager to oversee AP and Travel & Expense (T&E) functions across non-U.S. entities. This role will report directly to the Director of Shared Services in the U.S. (Cary, NC) and will be the lead decision-maker and liaison for global AP and T&E operations.



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage AP and T&E functions for non-U.S. entities, ensuring consistent processes and controls across various countries, while adapting to regulatory or statutory requirements as necessary.

  • Work cross-functionally with various departments, including Accounts Payable, Accounting, Procurement, Sales/Business Development, and global vendors.

  • Provide detailed reporting on key metrics and performance indicators.

  • Drive execution of strategic initiatives, technological upgrades, and process improvements within the AP and T&E areas.

  • Manage AP and T&E workflows, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company objectives.

  • Lead and mentor a team of 10 individuals, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

  • Oversee M&A integrations and ERP implementations, specifically in relation to AP and T&E workflows.

  • Assist AP and T&E teams with invoice processing and other tasks as needed.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the broader finance team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense management.

  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.

  • Proven expertise in managing multinational operations and implementing global processes.

  • Strong ability to plan, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.

  • Workday Financials ERP experience is a plus.

  • Experience with Coupa or similar procurement and expense management tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Hands-on, flexible approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and regions.
