Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $92,000 to $149,500. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
What you will do
The Associate Brand Manager will support the Brand Manager, Dermocosmetics
The Associate Brand Manager, Innovation & Equity Strategy will be responsible for helping shape and execute a strong, purpose-led portfolio & support brand equity storytelling, aligned with the business objectives, anticipating trends, and working closely with the Commercial & Global partners on day-to-day operations. The ABM will be instrumental in helping the team identify opportunities to leapfrog competition with disruptive brand storytelling & new innovations bringing them to life through close partnerships with technical cross-functional & commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support in collaborating across regions, cross functional teams and brand team partners to shape innovation & equity initiatives
Supporting the execution of a new global positioning and big idea to meet the business needs and expectations for the brand including monitoring market dynamics
Partner with NeoStrata team to develop and execute a strong innovation launch plans and go to market materials that supports brand priorities & global execution
Understand and advocate for consumer needs and preferences
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in growth marketing, and proactively recommend innovative strategies to enhance our innovation efforts.
Contribute to identifying growth opportunities to inform new product development, commercial innovation, and business continuity projects.
Partner with Market Insights & Research to mine consumer insights and category trends relevant to innovation & equity development
Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current environment and industry trends, digital advancements, oversee category and competitive analysis, stay abreast of latest competitive activities and sales
Supporting innovation team with 3-year innovation pipeline to deliver the brand strategic plan and operating plan goals
Develop global go-to-market plans for commercialization of new product innovation driving success upon launch with national and retail-specific plans
Building and effectively influencing business activities and projects, including gaining alignment from key partners and decision-makers
Contributing to a high-performance environment with a culture of collaboration and innovation
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required, preferably in Marketing or a related business field; a Master's in business or marketing specialization preferred
A minimum of 2 years of marketing, sales, or related experience; in CPG or consumer-related sector is preferred
Ability to understand a consumer target and position a brand/project/innovation and manage projects is required
Desired Qualifications
Must demonstrate a passion for and understanding of the category.
Someone who is highly creative with the ability to think out of the box.
Up to date with latest trends & marketing standard methodologies.
Experience with digital marketing, quantitative & qualitative testing is preferred
Demonstrated brand business building, critical thinking, and marketing thought leadership-ability to shape ideas & recommendations based on consumer insights is required
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities successfully.
Ability to work closely with cross functional and other internal teams.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability to work confidently and respectfully at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
Experience working with R&D, Market Research, Communications Agencies, Sales and Project Management is required. Experience working with Legal, Regulatory, and global partners is preferred
Previous beauty experience is preferred
