What You Will Be Doing:

The VP of Investor Relations & Capital Planning will lead the strategic planning and execution of investor relations activities, focusing on both debt and equity shareholders of the bank and its related holding company, Tradition Bancshares, Inc. (TBI). This role is also responsible for capital planning execution and long-term financial planning efforts for both the bank and TBI. This individual is a self-starter with robust analytical and relationship-building skills, capable of driving initiatives and achieving productive outcomes.


How You Will Get the Job Done:

Investor Relations

  • Relationship Development: Devise and implement investor relations strategies that effectively communicate the bank's financial performance, growth prospects, and strategic vision to investors. Build and maintain strong relationships with debt investors, equity shareholders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Communication: Oversee the preparation of investor presentations, earnings summaries, and other communications materials. Coordinate Annual Shareholder Meeting.
  • Collaboration: Work with our Experience team and third-party partners to provide an exceptional shareholder experience. Partner with bank Leadership and Relationship Officers to facilitate and develop new shareholder interest. Collaborate with legal counsel to resolve complex matters.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Manage relationship with outside transfer agent to maintain accurate records for all active and former shareholders and debt holders for TBI. Direct the processing of all shareholder transactions and documentation including purchasing, selling, title changes, and gifting. Manage and ensure communication regarding transaction activity with all shareholders.

Capital Planning

  • Planning & Forecasting: Lead capital planning activities, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and stress testing to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry risk management best practices in investor relations and capital planning.
  • Transaction Management: Develop a team to manage transaction processes, including M&A activities, capital raising, and other corporate finance and capital markets initiatives.
  • Industry Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market trends, competitive analysis, and investor feedback. Participate in bank Asset Liability Committee.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Professional & Educational Experience You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA favored.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in banking, capital markets, investor relations, capital planning, corporate finance, or related roles within the financial services industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives and to effectively communicate with investors.

For this position, we anticipate a pay range between $110,000 and $175,000, annually. Final offers will vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and Bank performance.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to type, carry, handle, and feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception in the window environment and the ability to adjust focus.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Travel may be required for this position.
