Your Role:

A Senior Field Service Engineer at MilliporeSigma is responsible for delivering exceptional on-site support, ensuring the seamless installation and maintenance of process solutions equipment.


Responsibilities:


  • Preparing, executing, wrapping up, and documenting services such as FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, Preventative Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Repair on hardware systems used in biopharmaceutical production

  • Providing customer training on basic hardware operation and maintenance while working independently and proactively managing your time in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Collaborating with internal support groups within MilliporeSigma (Sales, Technical Services, and others) to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction

  • Enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction through expert technical assistance



This position involves travel (both domestic and international) up to 60% and may include working outside of normal business hours.



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or other Science or Engineering field

  • 3+ years of professional experience in complex systems composed of electronics, computers, sensors, piping, etc.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong technical knowledge of Bioprocessing equipment and automated control systems

  • 3 years of experience in field service engineering within the process solutions sector

  • Field service experience with Electro-Mechanical devices, pumps and sensors

  • Basic knowledge of SCADA and PLC functionality

  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation as Electrical Drawing and P&ID

  • Experience working with electronics and computer background

  • Technical knowledge in Studio5000

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges

  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service and support

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and in an established team setting

  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities

  • Experience in the use of mechanical and hand tools and service test equipment



Pay Range for this position - $70,000 - $120,800


Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
