Manager, HECM Default Servicing is the primary contact for HECM topics and escalations. This position reports to the Director, Foreclosure. This position will support all reverse servicing for HECM related mortgagee letters, handbook updates, and research topics.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Primary liaison with the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development regarding HECM servicing matters
Oversight of Due & Payable package compilation process with focus on any pended/rejected requests
Root cause analysis of pended requests
Drives any process changes required
Responsible for reporting analysis
Coordination with support departments
Change Management for Default and Foreclosure
Responsible for identification and interpretation of HUD Mortgagee Letters, Handbook updates, and HERMIT releases (in conjunction with Legal & Ops Control - Compliance Bulletin and full change management process)
Drives any process changes required
Management of any open Process Unity, Audit Findings related to HECM loans.
Quarterly review of existing processes to identify any areas of non-compliance or areas of opportunity.
Monthly curtailment risk analysis
Key Result Areas:
Set objectives & key results (KPI's) that support our Service Excellence philosophy and standards, and monitor delivery against these to increase Customer satisfaction levels
Promote and instill a high performing team culture and support change management initiatives in compliance with HUD and HECM requirements
Drive accountability to ensure achievement of results in alignment with HUD and HECM requirements
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
Four-year degree from an accredited University preferred
10+ years of related experience required
Extensive knowledge of HECM servicing including HUD requirements
Knowledge of HERMIT required
The salary range for this position is expected to be 79,000-100,000 per depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.
