The New York Hilton Midtown is looking for a temporary Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team and oversee our Restaurants, Lounges, and Executive Lounge operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of restaurant management experience in a property with multiplefood and beverage outlets, Local 6 union experience, and full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Shift Pattern: Full availability, including nights, holidays, and weekends

Pay Rate: $47.50 / hour

What will I be doing?

As aFood and Beverage Operations Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant, lounges, and executive lounge.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
• Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation including scheduling, payroll, and designing menus.
• Implements effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
• Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules, and evaluates staff.
